My pal and producer, Chris Batte, pulled me into his Parkwalk Studios on Grand Ave in West Town to record this set of music. I had stopped writing for a bit following Sabers and a couple years of disinterest and I wanted to do something super simple. Guitar and vocals. These songs came from that and Chris telling me to get my ass off the couch. These songs are very much about the lyrics and vocals and acoustic guitar with accompaniment from Rocco Labriola on pedal steel for We Are 2 We Are 1 and the enchanting Kate Adams singing backup.
